Virginia City, located southeast of Reno, is home to Victorian buildings built during the 19th Century mining boom.  The first major silver discovery was discovered here.  The town, set on the side of the mountain, perches over miles of tunnels and shafts remaining from the mining days..  Part of the National Historic District, Virginia City welcomes visitors craving an authentic Old West experience.  Today tourists can walk the wooden board walks, tour the museums, and spend the night, hoping to glimpse a ghost from bygone bonanzas. Adrian Bal led this ride to Fresh Pond then Mt. Rose, Lake Tahoe and Meyers. With Bob Kehr, Edward Hartsgrove, Frank Perez, Gary Ackerman, Janet Hartsgrove, Rickey Prock, and Tom Pascoe.
